Children at Lovelace School have celebrated a successful year in sport after getting into the London Youth Games.
Students at the Chessington school beat schools from across the borough to win a place at the London Youth Games playing basketball, netball and cricket in recent weeks.
The school also holds first place in the borough for participation in sports competitions.
Lisa Cropley, sports leader at Lovelace, said: “We are massively proud of all the children involved. We hope it leads them to a life of sport - we want to engage children and make them love sport.
"To qualify for the London Youth Games, it is a massive achievement and something we have never done before."
Other clubs at the school include tennis, rounders, rugby and swimming as well as the running club.
