Children from King’s Oak Primary School learned how to present the weather and saw Dr Who’s Tardis during a tour around BBC studios.

Young journalists from the Dickerage Lane school won a competition to make it to the studios in White City last week.

They met with radio presenters, recorded a show and even got to see the Tardis.

Jessica Swash, 10, said: "The presenters told us all about their job. I learnt how the mike and the headphones worked. I felt like a real radio presenter."

Tanveen Kaur, 11, said: "I would love to work for the BBC.”
