A police unit tasked with targeting Waltham Forest’s gangs has arrested two men following a raid on a home in Chingford.
Officers attended the home in Stanley Road on Tuesday to carry out a search warrant.
During the raid they found a ‘large quantity’ of cannabis, Class A drugs, cash and mobile phones.
Some of the drugs found were concealed in a canister.
Two men, both 26, were arrested at the property on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs.
They have been bailed to an east London Police station to a date in August pending further enquiries.
