A summer fete to celebrate the first birthday of Cobham Village Hall’s extension takes place next month.

The fete, complete with a bouncy castle, raffle and cream teas, will help raise funds to develop the hall further and make it the perfect venue for the community.

The day of summer fun on July 12 will have something for the whole family and four-legged friends can also enjoy a piece of the action with a dog agility course.

Mary Taylor, chairman of Cobham Village Hall, said: "We look forward to welcoming you to your local village hall to enjoy the day and see some of the improvements we are working on.

"Cobham Village Hall is a charitable trust with no funding from any outside sources, to maintain it to the standard our community expects we will continue to fundraise to keep up our refurbishment programme"
