A hospital trust is holding its annual public meeting next month to encourage more people to find out about how it is run.

The North Middlesex University Hospital Foundation Trust is inviting anyone interested to come to the meeting on July 16.

Attendees will have the chance to become a foundation trust member, take part in a consultation on future decisions and make use of free blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar tests.

Chief executive Julie Lowe said: “We want to continue our journey and make our services
even better for the community we serve. Come along and find out more about us and get
involved with your local hospital.”

As well as the AGM, stalls will be promoting health awareness and the work of the trust and a free buffet lunch will be served from midday.

The meeting will be held between 1pm and 2.30pm in a marquee at the main entrance to the hospital, in Sterling Way, Edmonton.
