Brooklands Museum’s annual motorsport festival proved to be a record-breaking success.
Thousands of spectators enjoyed the Double Twelve Motorsport Festival on June 14 and 15 and were treated to a host of competitive racing and time trials.
The speed trials attracted a record capacity of entry of 100 pre-war and historic racing cars to take on the challenging course and, despite a downpour of rain, new record times were set for the class one, class two, class five and class six vehicles.
Speedy times were also set in the racing classes and the driving tests competition at test hill, with fierce competition apparent throughout the day.
