Teenagers will be given lessons in lifesaving at an Edmonton primary school today.

The British Heart Foundation will be teaching more than 30 teenagers heart training that could help save someone’s life.

The free ‘Heartstart’ course teaches people how to recognise and manage a heart attack, how to perform cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, put someone in the recovery position and about a defibrillator.

Led by senior heartstart trainers Patricia Agdomar and Aryeh Goldberg, the event will take place at Latymer All Saints Primary School, in Church Street, at 2pm.
