Three men have admitted robbing a delivery driver of thousands of pounds-worth of cigarettes.

John Reilly, 23, of Birchway House, Hayes, John Stokes, 27, of Clifford Road, Hounslow, and William Stokes, 27, of Elmcroft Close in Feltham, each pleaded guilty at Kingston Crown Court on Monday to one count of robbery.

They robbed a delivery driver of his cargo of cigarettes, worth about £12,000, in North Parade, Chessington, on May 23, Kingston police said.

The trio was arrested later the same day in Leatherhead.

They will return to Kingston Crown Court on Monday, July 14, to be sentenced.
