Guests at an aptly-named care home in Banstead enjoyed sandwiches, cakes and Pimms in the sunshine to celebrate National Care Home Open Day.
Sunrise of Banstead, in Croydon Lane, welcomed visitors for the open house event, which included a guided tour of the home and afternoon tea on the lawn.
Meanwhile saxophonist Suzi Gee entertained guests with some live jazz, soul and ambient music.
Banstead of Sunrise manager Barbara Mare said: "The Sunrise community is a hub at the heart of the area and a centre for people to gather.
"Everyone is always welcome to pop in to take part in the regular events and activities."
