Families enjoyed an evening under the big top as the circus came to town for an annual fundraising event.

The Friends of Thames Ditton Infant School welcomed the Happy Circus to the Old Cranleighan’s Rugby and Hockey Club, Portsmouth Road, for an evening of classic entertainment on Wednesday, June 19.

Pupils, parents and friends of all ages were treated to a circus show full of fun and laughter and visitors enjoyed picnics and a barbecue beneath the evening sun before the start of the show, which was sponsored by Keltbray.

Before heading into the big top, children were treated to face painting and ice creams and enjoyed a few jokes with Happy and Pip the clowns.
