A man has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries after a crash on the M25.
A car transporter, blue Vauxhall Zafira and a white Iveco van crashed on the clockwise carriageway at 3.05pm.
An air ambulance was called to the scene between junction 8, at Reigate, and junction 9, at Leatherhead.
The motorway was closed in both directions to allow it to land with one lane remaining shut in the clockwise side. The slip road at junction 8 is also closed.
The injured man was taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting and no other injuries were reported.
