Fancy watching quick-fire cricket with cheeky chappy Phil Tufnell taking on a celebrity team, while enjoying a picnic in the sun and supporting a great local charity?

If that tickles your fancy then come along to Epsom College later this month for an afternoon T20 cricket match in aid of the Children's Trust. 

The Sunday event format is guaranteed to provide all the excitement of test cricket in a fraction of the time - just 20 overs per side.

Ex Middlesex and England cricketer Tufnell, who is the captain of BBC's A Question of Sport, and his team will be taking on a team of mystery celebrities.

Tufnell is vice-president of the Children's Trust which is the leading charity for children with brain injuries in the UK and is based in Tadworth.

Set up in 1984, it cares for hundreds of children, providing rehabilitation and expert nursing and medical care. It also provides special education for children with profound learning difficulties as well as ground-breaking research. 

Nicole Lavelle, community fundraising manager for The Children's Trust says: "We're so lucky to have the on-going support of Phil Tufnell.

"He is such a great sport and is always happy to talk to fans at our events.

"The cricket match promises to be a great day out for all the family.

"Watching cricket over a picnic and in good company - a great way to spend a summer Sunday afternoon.

"Fundraisers like these are imperative to The Children's Trust so that we can keep supporting children with brain injury and their families."
