A flotilla of paper ships set sail at a stately home this week.
Forty Hall, in Forty Hill, Enfield, has been offering children the chance to create their own origami ships as part of the UK Children’s Art Week.
Artist Elaine Wilson was on hand to help children aged five to eleven to create the paper ships and embellish them with metallic inks.
Previously known as Children’s Art Day, this UK-wide programme has been running since 2000 and has given many children and young people the opportunity to experience the visual arts.
Parents can still take their children to Forty Hall between 3pm to 4.30pm until Friday, June 20, to take part.
