A supermarket helped reach out to carers across Potters Bar to give them advice, information and support as part of a week long campaign.

Sainsbury’s, in Darkes Lane, Potters Bar, was visited by Watford-based charity Peace Hospice Care to raise awareness about how the charity helps people facing an illness.

Volunteers from Macmillan Cancer Support also spent a day in store speaking to shoppers about the services it offers.

Sainsbury's, which is partnered with Carers UK, held a range of campaigns to reach out to carers across the borough.
