Carers had a day of relaxation and pampering devoted to them by the Princess Alice Hospice on June 11, as part of carer’s week 2014.
Carers tucked into a buffet lunch while a magician performed close-up tricks, and were able to enjoy massage and manicure treatments as well as advice on relaxation and support services.
Therapist Sharon Penny, who arranged the day, said: "Carers may not have the time to focus on their own wellbeing so we hope that today has given them the chance to relax and take some much needed time for themselves."
