Police and council officers have joined forces for a campaign to reduce cases of domestic abuse during the World Cup.
During the 2010 World Cup, domestic violence reports to the police increased by almost a third and Harrow Borough Council has issued posters to all pubs and bars raising awareness of the links between football and assaults in the home.
The council and police say they want everyone to enjoy the world cup and are urging fans to be award of the dangers and drink responsibly so nothing spoils the tournament.
