The creative talents of youngsters were put to the test at the latest Let’s Talk Elmbridge event.
With the sun shining high in the sky, the event enjoyed a rare venture into the playground at St Matthew’s Church of England Infant School, Cobham, on June 2.
From cake decorating, face painting and T-shirt designing to a recycling game and tours of a police car, there was something to suit all children as their parents gather to talk about the borough.
People were able to talk to representatives from Elmbridge Council, Surrey County Council and Surrey Police about services provided, along with giving their views on what is available.
Councillor John O'Reilly, leader of the council, said: "Let’s talk Elmbridge events enable our residents’ voices to be heard, providing an important forum for us to understand how we are doing in providing services for communities.
"It was great to see so many residents and their children turn out for the Let’s Talk Elmbridge event at St Matthew’s CofE Infant School."
