Hersham is blooming once again thanks to a group of green-fingered residents.
With shovels, spades and forks in hand, 20 people planted barrels and troughs around the village with summer bedding plants, all recommended and supplied by Squires Hersham, and more than 80 geraniums, donated by Woodlark Nurseries.
While the Hersham in Bloom group does its best to maintain the plants in the summer months, Councillor Mary Sheldon said the team would appreciate people removing litter from plant containers and watering the flowers if they felt it was needed.
To sponsor a plant container and have your name or company displayed on the barrel or trough, call Coun Sheldon on 01372 467812.
