An artist enjoyed a two day residency at St Andrew’s Primary School, helping pupils to develop their artistic ideas.
Rebecca Price also joined children on a trip to Kew Gardens where they learnt about rainforests, along with taking photographs and sketching colourful plants.
Back at school, children used their photographs and sketched to develop their ideas in pastels and paint.
Elizabeth Collins, art leader at St Andrew’s, said: "It’s wonderful for children to have the opportunity to work alongside a real artist. These are the enriching experiences they will remember from their school days."
