Dozens of job seekers attended an employment fair focusing on the recruitment in the care industry.

More than 20 employers and training providers attended the event, organised by Harrow Council at the authority’s civic centre, in Station Road, on Tuesday.

The Xcite fair also included workshops on how to gain and improve skills, as well as interview techniques and CV writing.

Pooja Chandhok, Harrow Council’s Xcite project officer said: “We’re pleased our Xcite job fairs attract lots of people from across the borough, and a majority find work or training to develop their careers.”
