Word wizards wowed a packed out audience in an old church in Teddington when they belted through collections of poems at an evening of literary brilliance and music.
The Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington saw poets from across the country perform at the Word Cafe event, which was founded by Liverpudlian performer Julie Mullen in 2009.
The word expert rallied fellow scouser Brian Patten to perform at the arts centre on June 5.
Other performers included musician Isolda and her band, Kirsten Irving, Richard Tyron Jones and Jo Bell.
