Drivers in Esher are facing long delays after a car overturned this morning.
High Street has reopened in the past couple of minutes, having been blocked at the junction with Church Street, where a car was on its roof in the middle of the crossroads.
Firefighters from Walton and Painshill were called to the accident and helped make the scene safe.
A Painshill firefighter said the car had somehow “rolled over” on to its roof, but they did not need to cut anyone from the vehicle.
S Surrey Police spokesman said: "Surrey Police was in attendance at Esher High Street following a road traffic collision this morning (Monday, 9 June).
"Two vehicles including a silver Mitsubishi and a grey Lexus were involved in the incident.
Reports of the road traffic collision were received at about 10.20am."
The road remained closed while emergency services attended and was re-opened shortly before noon.
A man was taken to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the incident should call Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference P14166468, or call independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
