The sounds of djembe drums filled Notre Dame School to mark the opening of its new music room this week.
Conductor Timothy Henty kicked off the musical day with an assembly performance on samba drum and marimba, before year 3 pupils enjoyed tutorials and the percussion and djembe clubs were treated to hour-long workshops.
The ceremony and workshops on Wednesday, June 4, marked the official opening of the music room, which was refurbished and filled with new instruments.
