Youngsters will learn various safety tips as part of the Elmbridge junior citizen programme.
Run by Surrey Police and supported by the Elmbridge Community Safety Partnership, year 6 pupils will learn about fire safety, first aid, road safety, stranger danger and personal safety as part of the three-week programme.
This year, 23 primary schools and 1,180 pupils across the borough will take part.
Peter Kipps, Elmbridge community safety manager, said: “We are very pleased with the support given by our schools to junior citizen, the pupils come away with valuable skills and knowledge which will stay with them for future years and assist them in dealing with a range of safety issues.”
The programme runs from June 2 to June 19.
