Representatives from voluntary groups and charities are being called to attend a meeting focusing on their work in the borough.

The Harrow Voluntary and Community Sector Forum will take place on Monday June 2, from 10am to 12pm at the Harrow Civic Centre in Station road.

The meeting is open to voluntary and community organisations of all sizes in the borough and is a chance for members identify local issues of mutual interest.

It will also be an opportunity for groups to hear about the latest news in the sector and how they might be affected.

Let's welcome this initial fact-finding meeting and reserve judgement based on what transpires. We must be open-minded and give people a chance to put their views in the public domain before we hastily jump to conclusions.
