A children’s hospice wants the public to take part in a walking challenge to raise cash for its sick patients.

Shooting Star Chase wants people to take part in the sunrise walk, which starts at 4.30am on June 1, and starts and finishes at Ham House.

Last year’s inaugural walk saw 300 participants raise £48,000 for the charity.

The route of the walk means those taking part can see the borough’s landmarks including Richmond Park and Hampton Court Palace.

The entry fee also includes a T-shirt to mark the event, refreshments along the route, a commemorative medal and a well-deserved breakfast.
