Organisers of a 24-hour relay run for a cancer charity have reassured runners that the race will go ahead.
Confusion surrounding the Relay for Life, due to be held in Edmonton in June, had arisen afer mass advertising for the Race for Life, led to people signing up for the wrong event.
Both runs are organised by Cancer Research UK however, Race for Life is a women-only event, while Relay for Life is a 24-hour relay run which is open to both men and women.
Te charity remains confident that the Relay for Life in Jubilee Park, Edmonton, on June 22, will go ahead and are appealing to all members of the community to sign up.
