For a family day out this summer, Ham Polo Club has the perfect offering.
The mayor of Richmond Councillor Meena Bond hosts a charity polo match at the last surviving polo club in London.
The club, in its 88th year, is known for its playing and social facilities and relaxed family atmosphere.
Ticketholders can enjoy the polo while knowing money from sales goes towards the mayor’s chosen charities – Home Start Richmond and the Avenue Club, Kew.
Spectators can bring their own picnic or buy refreshments from the club directly.
VIP packages are available which include a glass of Pimm’s on arrival as well as a selection of food, wine and hot drinks.
Food choices include dressed poached salmon with watercress mayonnaise, Vietnamese beef salad and sugar baked ham on the bone studded with cloves.
Under-16s go free so the whole family can enjoy a day out without breaking the bank.
