Educators from across the country enjoyed a weekend filled with all things musical at St George’s College.

The Weybridge school hosted the Music Masters Association conference from May 16 to May 18, with students getting on stage to showcase their talents.

Along with talks from guest speakers including Richard Hallam MBE and Professor Edward Higginbottom from New College, Oxford, sessions on music technology and world music were also on offer.

Jamie Mark, year 10 student and bassoonist, said: “It has been a privilege to participate in such a wonderful workshop session with Pro Corda and that it was really thought-provoking to have been a part of something so special in the music education world.”

Conference delegates also enjoyed a service led by Father Martin Ashcroft and Father Aidan Rossiter to bring the weekend to a close.
