Hendon results were the first to be announced this evening, with the Conservatives retaining all three seats.
Maureen Braun received 2015 votes, Mark Shooter 2087 votes and Anthony Finn was awarded 2128 votes.
They will continue to serve residents in the area until the next general election in four years time.
After the announcement was made, Mark Shooter told the Times Series: “I am over the moon, I am going to continue our good work on the council.
"I hope we have a majority still. It’s looking good downstairs. It shows people are still happy with the way the council is run.”
