A group of Claygate care home staff and supporters are ready to be doused in colour as they take to the streets of north London.
To help raise £1,000 for a garden room at Bupa Wingham Court Care Centre, Oaken Lane, the Wings of Wingham will complete the London Colour Run on June 1.
As they run the 5km around the iconic Wembley stadium, the team will be sprinkled with pink, blue and orange powder while they think about the benefits the garden room would provide for residents.
Nico Effiong, activities co-ordinator, said: “I’m passionate about the extra independence our residents stand to gain from the Garden Room and I hope others will support this very worthy cause.”
