Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of a man in New Barnet.
The body of Antonio Tommaso, 49, was found by firefighters called to tackle a blaze at his home in Sheridan Lodge, Potters Road, New Barnet last Thursday.
A post mortem examination revealed Mr Tommaso died of multiple stab wounds, but that he had been dead for two to three days before the flat was torched.
Detectives arrested a 30-year-old man and a 31-year-old man on suspicious of murder this morning.
The suspects have been taken to north London police stations where they currently remain.
