With show girls, live music and lots of sparkle, you would be forgiven for thinking you were in Las Vegas.
But far from the heat of the Nevada desert, a little piece of Sin City was brought to Weybridge for the Sam Beare Ball on May 17.
Nearly 200 guests at Mercedes-Benz World enjoyed entertainment from Take That tribute band, Fake That, comedian Bobby Davro and YD dancers, and raised almost £29,000 for the hospice.
Guests were treated to a champagne reception on arrival before enjoying a three course dinner with views across the Mercedes circuit.
Nigel Harding, chief executive of Woking and Sam Beare hospices, said: “It was a great evening from the food to the entertainment, and most importantly to the fundraising.
“Everyone I spoke to said they had a wonderful night, and thanks to Mercedes-Benz World we’ve once again been able to host it at their fantastic venue, which always adds that extra bit of sparkle.”
