A charity day raised nearly £2,500 in support of two little girls with cancer.
Three mums got together to organise the event, with a bouncy castle, raffle, face painting and barbecue, at the Harriers Centre in West Ewell on Saturday.
In November 2013 Eva Gilligan, then 18 months old, was diagnosed with a Wilm’s tumour, a type of kidney cancer. In January Tilly Coventry, then two years and 8 months old, was diagnosed with Leukemia.
Eva's mum Rebecca Chambers Gilligan and friends Devenia Besant and Rebecca Turnbull organised the event on Saturday in aid of children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent.
Their fundraising website said: "Both Eva and Tilly are responding well to their treatment but still have a long way to go.
"Both are amazing brave little girls and still smiling but as you can imagine some days are long, hard and stressful for both the parents and girls as they suffer side effects from the aggressive treatment they have to go through.
"The hospitals, doctors and the NHS have been amazing, as well as family and friends who have rallied round to offer support or a shoulder to cry on.
"We are organizing the event to not only create awareness but to raise much needed funds for Children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent who offer families like them the much needed clinical, practical and emotional support to help them cope with this awful disease."
