Police in Waltham Forest have released an image of a suspected cash thief. 

Suspect 147787 is wanted in connection with theft at Asda in Leyton Mills, Leyton, on April 24 at 7pm. 

The woman is accused of stealing £50 cashback left at the self-service checkout by a previous customer.

The CCTV images have been released to the Guardian as part of a joint venture with the Metropolitan Police to identify potential perpetrators of unsolved crimes in the borough.

Anyone with information should contact Waltham Forest police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
