The final weekend of the Surbiton Food Festival saw families turn out for the Seething sports day on the sunniest weekend so far this year.
This was not a typical sports day. Organiser Robin Hutchinson asked beforehand: "So who fancies doing the Seething 10,000 cm? A test of endurance, pain barriers, stops to take on water and must be in fancy dress."
Little Sister Blue play for the visitors.
Kids – big and little – stumbled over the line in the three-legged race, while the less athletically-minded sat back to enjoy picnics and live music.
