Research suggests an exciting weekend is the secret to preventing your loved one from playing away.
A survey by Victoria Milan, a dating website catering for people looking to engage in affairs, suggests people most feel the need to have sex with alternative partners during the week – not the weekend.
The survey of 3,500 men and women found an exciting weekend is the key to calming your partner’s sexual dissatisfaction as Monday sees more people trying to arrange affairs than any other day.
Thwarted hopes, not the usual Monday blues, may be the source of this apparent discrepancy.
Thirty-six per cent of those surveyed said “a boring weekend with the partner” was why they thought Mondays were the most popular day to look for affairs; similarly, 18 per cent cited “lack of sex over the weekend.”
Only 17 per cent claimed it was “because Mondays are the most depressing day of the week.”
Meanwhile, 29 per cent just wanted to start off the work week with “a good dose of adrenaline,” hinting at a low-energy weekend.
