David Forrest, aged 54, is a driving instructor and owner of D Drive driving school, based in Dartford and says that the roads in Dartford are not to blame for this string of accidents but the 'defensive' attitudes of drivers.

Mr Forrest said: "It's often the attitudes of other people that cause the problems rather than the roads themselves.

"When we teach people we teach them properly and show them the right attitude to have towards driving - driving isn't just about having the technical skills.

"You see a lot of defensive driving and we teach people how to deal with and avoid those situations."
