A documentary on the Swanley murder of Natalie Jarvis airs tonight.

Ms Jarvis was stabbed to death with a silver multi-tool in a country lane car park in Button Street in October 2012 by her Sidcup boyfriend Adam Whelehan, who was later jailed for a minimum of 26 years.

A spokesman for the show, A Town & Country Murder, said: "The series combines interviews with those involved, dramatic reconstruction of the murder and original crime scene photos and CCTV to give a blow-by-blow account of the crime and the hunt for the killer.

"Not only do we hear from the detectives who cracked the cases and the bereaved families who lost a loved one but also from local people who reveal how the murder has changed their tight knit communities forever."

The team behind the show, A Town & Country Murder, also interviewed former News Shopper reporter Alan Woods about the crime.

It airs at 9pm tonight on Sky channel 553, Virgin Media 237 and BT 433.
