Drama students at an Esher stage school enjoyed a masterclass from a former actress on The Bill.
Lucy Speed, known for her roles as Detective Sergeant Stevie Moss in the ITV1 police drama and Natalie Evans in EastEnders, made a guest appearance at the Mark Jermin Stage School at Imber Court on Saturday, May 3, to give advice and help build pupils’ confidence.
The lesson began with vocal exercises and moved on to improvisation, stage direction and audition techniques.
Ms Speed said: “I’m so excited to be able to pass on my knowledge to the students and watch them develop and I’m so pleased to support Charlie and work with her again.
“It was hard work but the results have been amazing and the children have put in outstanding performances.”
The stage school, run by Thames Ditton resident and former EastEnders star Charlie Brooks, has two classes every Saturday and caters for four to 18 year olds.
