What's the weirdest thing that's ever happened to you on a train or bus?

This Is Local London: What's the weirdest thing that's ever happened to you on a train or bus? What's the weirdest thing that's ever happened to you on a train or bus?

Travelling on public transport can be tedious and repetitive but occasionally it can become more ... let’s say interesting.

We’d love to know what the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on a train or bus is.

Have you ever heard anything on the morning rail commute or seen something on the late bus home which has left your jaw on the floor or made you laugh out loud?

Have you ever had any ‘did that REALLY just happen?’ moments while using public transport?

Add your comments below – and just for kicks we’ll award extra credit and kudos if you can email us a photo, drawing or some other visual representation illustrating just how bizarre your incident was!

Was on a 21 bus yesterday and an African bloke was sat next to me with a Tally Clicker. All he did was click the bloody thing constantly from Lewisham to New Cross while talking to himself.

I find a lot of people tend to mumble away to themselves on the bus and just when i think they are on the phone to somebody they aren't at all.

Starting to wonder if London Buses are a form of care in the community.

The weirdest thing that's ever happened to me on a bus or train?... Well I recall reading a really interesting article in the News Shopper on my way to work once. It was in the days before deadly spiders, top ten this or that, best/worst such and such, lost cats...

Well where do i start... the nutter behind me on the train chatting away to himself... the man falling asleep standing up and sliding down the pole he was hanging on to.... the journey home one evening delayed at Herne Hill because a child had been left on the train when his parents had alighted at Victoria on the inbound journey(HOW?!!?!?!).
... the day the train went bang and caught fire at Elmstead Woods... i could go on

Zzzzzz.

You should really consult a doctor about that twitchy finger of yours which seems to keep clicking on things you don't want to read.

Coming home on the train I leant forward to my bag which was on the floor, some impatient commuter squeezed passed and took my hair in his flies and ended up taking me half way to his seat.

Some moons ago I was on a train to Larndarn when I struck up a conversation with a young lady sitting opposite. She told me that she was visiting her parents, & then enquired "And You?" , to which I replied "Unfortunately I have a difficult journey to make".

Her eyes closed for a few seconds, and she then infomed me "I have just said a prayer for you".

She obviously misunderstood me, I was going to Blackburn.

I can't honestly remember the last time I rode on a train or a bus, after reading the comments above I now remember the reason why though.

I saw two female Cheyenne Indians on a bus on Edgeware Road, once. They both had black eyes. I don't mean black eyes as in someone punched them. Their irises were coal black. Never saw that before.

I was a bus driver for 7 months and hated every day but I always remember a bus full of drunken passengers on a Saturday night all singing 'we love the bus driver' to the tune of Queens 'we are the champions'

My only good memory of a terrible job.
