Has the BBC’s Who Do You Think You Are programme made you curious as to what’s lurking in your family history?

If so, a family history day which will help you explore your roots may take your fancy.

Volunteers will be available at the free event to advise visitors digging deeper into their pasts - whether they are starting out and need help with the basics or have specific questions about issues hindering their research.

Celebrity genealogy documentary series Who Do You Think You Are? has led to a renewed interest in family trees since launching in 2004 and becoming a hit with audiences in the UK and across the pond.

Who Do You Think You Are?  Family History Day; Ebbisham Centre, Derby Square, Epsom; May 10; 10am to 4pm; call 01372 732000
