Acoustic duo Kelley McRae and Matt Casteilein are dropping into Twickenham for their only London performance of their European tour.

The American double-act have played coast to coast in the US to promote their third album Better Than The Blues.

Twickfolk’s Robert Smith says: “Singer-songwriter Kelley McRae, who performs as a duo with her husband Matt Casteilein, has an amazing voice.

“Their style of music is heartfelt Americana and their songs, inspired by the people and places they have encountered on their travels, have an honesty that touches the audience.”

The BBC’s Bob Harris has called Kelley McRae “brilliant” and film director Wim Wenders, writing in the San Francisco Chronicle, described Kelley McRae’s music as “the last songs that made me cry”.
