Neighbours in Morden have got together to form a new residents’ association to give them a voice in the community.

Ten households in a cul-de-sac in Central Road have set up the Park View Residents’ Association and plan to work together on maintaining their properties and organising events such as barbecues.

Chairman Jean-Marc Paulin said: "There’s a real community feel between us and everyone knows each other.

"This gives us a voice to Merton Council."

A committee of five people has been established and they welcome other residents from the cul-de-sac to join.
