Teddington Theatre Club’s production of Moira Buffini’s Dinner coincides with the London opening of her newest play Hand Bagged.

She will attend one of the performances of the play in the main auditorium of the Hampton Hill Playhouse.

The 2002 play, first performed at the Royal National Theatre, follows Paige Janssen who invites friends over to mark the publication of a book written by her husband, Lars.

A succession of unusual courses, interrupted by the arrival of an unexpected guest, lead to some surprising revelations and, eventually, to death.

Dinner; Hampton Hill Playhouse; May 11 to 17; 7.45pm, Sunday 4pm; £12 to £14; 0845 8387529 or ttc-boxoffice.org.uk.
