The nation’s water rescue teams took part in a mammoth fundraising feat during London lifeboat day this week.
Representatives from the RNLI, including Teddington, took to the streets on Tuesday, April 29, to collect cash to fund the lifesaving work the organisation does.
Crews have rescued 2,713 people since the charity began operating on the Thames 12 years ago.
A host of other fundraising activities will take place throughout the week of until May 4, which include initiatives such as wear wellies to work, talent auctions and fancy dress days.
