Statistics released by Times Higher Education shows that Brunel is considered the fourth top young UK university.
Their position in the worldwide rankings has increased to 29th, up from 44th place in 2013.
The Top 100 Under 50 ratings take into account special characteristics of younger universities across the world, focusing on areas including research reputation, learning environment and international outlook.
Brunel’s Vice-Chancellor Prof Julia Buckingham said: “Profound change is happening in the market for education and research, but we at Brunel are ambitious and well placed to take on our older competitors.”
