A man from Barnet who was arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences has been bailed.
The 57-year-old was arrested yesterday at an address in Barnet on suspicion of encouragement of terrorism and suspicion of possessing information useful to persons preparing or committing acts of terrorism.
He was remanded in police custody but has now been released on bail to a date in September pending further enquiries.
A 50-year-old man was also arrested at an address in Westminster for the same offences. He remains in police custody while enquiries continue.
Police have searched both residential addresses in Barnet and Westminster as well as a number of vehicles.
