Plans to build a giant tomb in the middle of green belt land have been scrapped.
The huge mausoleum was due to be built next to Westminster Cemetery in Mill Hill, but the plans have now been dropped after fierce opposition.
The item was due to be heard at Barnet Borough Council's planning committee meeting tomorrow night, but GLA member Andrew Dismore confirmed this evening it was no longer on the agenda.
More to follow tomorrow.
