A man has pleaded guilty to two charges in relation an armed robbery at a betting shop in West Molesey earlier this month.

Richard Coleman, 45, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to robbery and possession of an imitation firearm at Guildford Crown Court on Thursday, April 24.

Coleman entered Ladbrokes in Walton Road at about 10.30am, on Tuesday, April 1, approached staff and demanded money.

Coleman has been remanded in custody and will be sentenced at the same court on May 15.
